Q1. What is your current military branch and affiliation? And what was your motivation for participating in the KLEAP program?

I am an Army Officer. My motivation to attend was to immerse myself in Korean to prepare for the DLPT. I attended KLEAP before and I always get a positive score after I attended.



Q2. What do you think about the KLEAP program at Kyung Hee University? What do you think are the advantages of the KLEAP program at Kyung Hee University?

I think KLEAP blends immersion, cooperative learning, and focused instruction to give students a world class learning experience. The single most important advantage is the holistic approach to learning.



Q3. Please tell us how KLEAP program helped you to do well on DLPT exam.

KLEAP helps me get prepared for the DLPT by giving me the language immersion environment. The Korean Buddy program is also a great tool to get additional help. The afternoon DLPT preparation class is really helpful in getting the vocabulary needed to do well on the test.

The KLEAP program is like a hero’s journey, all of the elements build on each other that culminate in a well prepared linguist.



Q4. If you have any expectations for the KLEAP program at Kyung Hee University in the future, please feel free to share.

I would like to offer the opportunity to all Soldiers that need to prepare for the DLPT to get a chance to attend.
