Founded in 1993, the Korean Language Department of IIE provides quality Korean language courses to about 6,000 foreigners and overseas Koreans from 100 countries around the world.
The Regular courses run for 10 weeks, 4 times throughout the year in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Intensive courses run for 3 weeks in the Spring and Summer. Special and content-based courses are tailored to the specific needs and demands of a 3rd party organization or overseas university.

Skilled language instructors developed the Kyung Hee Korean textbooks (19 books in the series, published in March 2020) to help Korean language learners develop the practical skills necessary to achieve a high-level of Korean proficiency.
